Initial Thoughts
These are just some initial thoughts, and any feedback would be welcome,if you could give constructive criticism, along with any features you would like to see these would also be welcome.
Why Network Marketing
I look on network marketing as a personal franchise, which gives the individual the chance to compete on an even playing field.
You do not have to a rocket scientist, one of the beautiful people,or even super popular to be succesfull.
All you need is a willingness to put in the effort, work with and build your team,an opportunity you are comfortable with and bags of determination along with a willingness to learn.
Another key quality is the ability to think like a self employed person, you will have to go out and find customers and team members, and be willing to live with the results that follow.
Any new network marketer will soon realise that unlike a traditional job where you do some work and get paid either weekly or monthly in your network marketing business the result may follow some time after you have put in the effort,it's aslo possible to build your business while keeping your day job, without putting everything on the line, something your spouse would not like.
It's important to remeber that it may take 3 to 5 years to build your network marketing business to the point where you can leave and go full time.
During this period you will have to juggle all your other commitments, work family etc and overcome minor setbacks.
One of the many benefits of network marketing is that you will certainly meet many new people ,as well as changing your whole outlook on life for the better.

I am a friend of Tommie`s in the same network marketing company - Utility Warehouse Discount Club.
He is one of the many advantages of networking - making new friends you otherwise would not meet in daily life.
It`s not like a normal job with competition or backbiting. Everyone pulls together and helps each other even if they are not in the same team.
As tommie says there are ups and downs. It can be exhilarating - when someone new joins your team; when you get another customer and your group grows; when new improved services are announced and you know you can help more people.
But there are down days as well - working from home can be lonely; you can be lazy - you have to motivate yourself etc.
BUT on the whole what drives us on is the lure of freedom from that 9-5. The freedom to choose whether to work or not; the freedom that extra money can bring into our lives and most of all the dream.
We see ordinary everyday people like tommie and me in Telecom Plus driving the company porsches; enjoying the cruises; having homes abroad. Tangible evidence of what can be achieved if you set your sights high enough.
I`d recommend anyone to give it a go. What can you lose?

Nice one Tommie - some very good points. Every now and again I get someone saying something along the lines of
"Why should I have to pay to join ? I don't have to pay to go to work!"
I explain to them that they're not getting a JOB. You're comment about thinking like a self employed business person is one I just might use in future.
Best Regards,
Hamish
